wow what a storm tonight! Talked with my sister and she said they had tornado warnings, we just had loads of thunder and rain....but supposed to be cooler tomorrow!

Work is busy right now... Guess that happens getting back into the school year.

Had cooled down after some storms, now it was back up to 80. Supposed to cool down again then warm back up before cooling again. Roller Coaster ride!

yeah, Malice has some real hardships there.

cool, but still very very nice---only need a/c during middle of the day and mornings are still nice enough to have the balcony door open.

Ya the new school is really what is making it busier. Have to learn what everyone else is doing. I used to be able to just do what I wanted to do. Now I have to do what others do. oh well. It will be great. It has been great. So far so good.

I really feel bad for Malice. I'll never be able to have that same feeling.

been sooo nice to have the a/c off...might actually not flinch when I open my electric bill this month.

New routine for a new school...next year will be easier.

been spending my time at doctors offices (got lost trying to find a new one too

)....so far no answers only bills

It has been nice not to have to run the a/c. Just having the windows open cooled it down nicely. Still ran the air at night to avoid having our neighbor's smoke come into our bedroom.

Ya next year will be easier, which will be nice.

Went to the vet today with my dad. Our German Shepherd had been battling an infected foot that was possibly cancerous. So we took her in for X-Rays that looked like she had a growth on her heart as well... So we ended up having to put her down today. 12 years of companionship from her and today she goes to a better place to be with our Scotty we put down almost 12 years ago. Freaking hell, still hard to say...

dang another hot week for us...its hotter now than it was in june (and parts of july as well)...think we are in beginning of august instead of september (seemed like june was more like may as well--this year is just messed up).....in other weather news, they say it might be another warm winter based on the el nino thingy; best news I have heard all summer. Hot? daamn i want some heat around here ive been freezing this week. this morning it was at 40F and not going be much above anytime soon..

Thanks guys. Was a tough weekend but work has helped to keep my mind off of it. Doing a lot better now, I can think about her without getting super sad again. So yay.

Been hot as all get out here... And I was outside most of the day pretty much all week. Brutal.

You will be dead before we see Malice's rides.

Ya he likes to run off for months at a time. He will be back around Christmas.

Finally cooled off a bit around here thanks to some storms coming through. Hope it stays that way because I'm ready for fall.

I'm not...but I dont want the super hot temps....70's is fine by me (and yeah, we had a few really good storms too). Acorns all over the driveway (and car

)...hubby parked in the spare lot so he wouldnt have to clean them off!
We have our yearly 'heat detector' inspection next week, really tired of having to allow these guys into my home.

I'd be okay with 60's even. Supposed to warm back up next week and then cool back down. So I guess that means fall is coming right?

No acorns to drop around here, which is good. At least not on the driveways.
